Jim and I try and get to the farmers market just up the road from us on Saturdays.
This weekend that didn't happen so we decided instead to go to the big farmers market in downtown Sacramento that is held on Sundays.
It is a wondrous market.
Tonight we will be dining on some fresh steamed English peas.
Along with strawberries.
The strawberry season has started and between the two of us three pint baskets disappear quickly.
I also found some new cheese to try, Nicasio cheese.
I am such a fan of the cheeses being produced in the area.
I do so love going to the farmers market.
You never know what you might find.
